Sunrise Beach Resort is Located at the First port of Tanganyika and at the Dar es Salaam suburb named Mjimwema, which Literally means good-town. Sunrise Beach Resort, nestled in the pristine sand beach seven kilometers from Magogoni creeks as Mjimwema, Kigamboni, Features a stunning array of sports and leisure facilities including the rare in Dar es Salaam sea motor sport.

Accommodation

The resort has nineteen (19) cottages with double beds facing the beach intimate relationship with traditional Swahili built in thatched houses to blending coconut leaves Makuti/ Mawale.The cottages are fully furnished, with ensuite bathrooms, mini fridge, TV and mini swimming pool to make your stay comfortable.The resort also provides camping facilities. Our newly built 14 executives rooms are fully equipped with branded and latest technology which is purposely designed to make your stay most memorable and exclusive.

Restaurant

RESTAURANT & BAR: Our team of international chefs will be most delighted to serve you with variety of Indian, Chinese, Continental and traditional dishes. Come and enjoy our speciality in seafood. The Chefs will dazzle you with a flamb'e show cooking. All at Mtagalala restaurant. The restaurant has a big screen to let you enjoy world wide programs through DSTV while you are having your dinner. The resort has two bars. The Bamboo - main bar, and Mikoko beach bar fully stocked. Our famous cocktails are irresistible entertained by our resident band performing live on every saturdays from 14hrs onwards. Come and watch the live snake dance performed by the traditional Ngoma Troupe every sundays from 14hrs onwards.

MEETINGS & CONFERENCE FACILITIES: Sunrise Beach Resort provide the perfect venue in which to hold that important gathering - be it a business meeting, conference, seminar, cocktail reception, banquet or exhibition. State-of-the-art meeting and conference facilities are available and equipped with the latest audio-visual facilities.The conference hall is called SINDA Conference Hall named after an Island just overlooking the conference hall. Sinda Conference Hall can accommodate up to 60 guests. Our entire staff will ensure all your needs are looked after at all time during the conference sessions in process.

SPORT & LEISURE: There is endless enjoyment once you are at Sunrise Beach Resort which is fully equipped with camel ride, horse ride, jet skis, ski bobs, banana boats, beach bikes, motor bikes, voleyball, football, pool table, swimming pool just to spoil yourself. The resort has also taken care of children by having merry-go-around, seesaw, swings, etc. A twenty minutes boat ride to the Sinda Island, which became famous after its Arab slave traders arrived on the East African coast is an experience of its own, and also 10 minutes Mikoko River trip can be arranged to see the natural beauty of the nearby surroundings.
