The Kuramathi Blue Lagoon, Maldives is situated on the more quiet westhern tip of Kuramathi Island. This boutique Resort faces the turquoise waters and it is surrounded by coconut groves. The relaxing standard rooms are spacious and furnished with cane furniture-bed including a private veranda. Popular with those seeking peace and rest. This 1 km long Island consists of 3 Resorts, the Cottage Club, Kuranathi Village and Blue Lagoon which is the smallest and quietest of the Resorts. Guests can visit all 3 Resorts. Transfer time is just over 2 hour by speedboat from Male International Airport.Guests are free to move about between the resorts (a bus runs up and down all day) to try out the other restaurants and bars, the varied nightlife or simply to explore. Every night there is some live band, disco or beach party at one or other resort. The whole island is most attractively landscaped and the low, thatched buildings fit handsomely into the environment. The three resorts are, nonetheless, quiet clearly graded.

Accommodation

There is a choice of 30 standard rooms or 20 water bungalows to choose from on this resort and all are of a high standard with a wide array of modern amenities available. The standard rooms are built in surroundings that are rich with tropical blooms and tall palm trees, and the water bungalows offer easy access to the great looking lagoon which the island counts among one of its best assets. Air-Conditioning, Ceiling Fan, Sitting Area, Mini Bar, Telephone, Hairdryer, Tea & Coffee Making Facilities, Private veranda, Room Service, Standard rooms are located in the gardens.

Restaurant

At the Blue Lagoon, guests may dine at any of the three restaurants at the resort, and they may also use the Siam Garden, Palm Court or Coffee Shop restaurants at the Cottage Club, and the Coffee Shop at Kuramathi Village. With such a wide range of dining choices you may well find it hard to decide where to eat next. At the Blue Lagoon the standards are high and you are assured of the best of international standards.
