The Colosseum Hotel! October 2007 saw the opening of Tanzania's most modern and luxurious hotel_ the Colosseum. With inspiration drawn from classic Greco - Roman architecture_ the hotel offers complete facilities and relaxation whether you arrive after a long day in the office or as a stop of between your safari and Zanzibar beach holiday.
Accommodation
The Colosseum offers you full relaxation_ with each of our 42 rooms finished to the highest standard. The rooms are divided in to 36 Deluxe and 6 Suites.
Each of the fully air-conditioned rooms have a king size bed and plasma widescreen television connected to DSTV satellite offering the best in news, sport and entertainment channels. All rooms also have an electronic safe, tea / coffee making facilities and laundry service.
In addition to these facilities the opulent Suites have a 2-room design with a lounge area and kitchen attached to the bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, fridge, hot plates, kettle and all kitchen utensils and crockery. The lounge area leads out on to a balcony with another seating area.
Restaurant
Leonardo's Pizza Workshop
The Italians invented Pizza, then we perfected it. A universal favorite of all ages. Our wood fired pizza oven produces hot and fast pizzas that will tantalize your taste buds. Also on offer are a range of pasta dishes and snacks. Either sit in our outdoor Pizza workshop or order a quick take away and enjoy a drink at the bar as you wait for your order.
Marc Anthony Fine Dining
Marc Anthony offers dining in our full air-conditioned restaurant in the Colosseum hotel. Mark Anthony offers a choice of worldwide cuisine ranging from River Trout and fresh Sea Food to Salads and Steaks. All the meals are complimented with a selection of drinks from the popular bar. The bar offers an extensive wine list of 70 worldwide wines as well as a variety of cocktails. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served to all hotel residents in the Marc Anthony.

Confrence Room
The Coloseum hotel's Forum is our version of the ancient Roman meeting place offering a luxurious and convenient meeting place for all your conference and business needs.
The Forum can cater for a maximum of 80 delegates and includes a variety of conferencing equipment. In association with our two restaurants we are able to offer complete conference packages including refreshments, set meals and accommodation.
