To get here it is 130 miles southeast of Nassau and 300 miles from Ft. Lauderdale, 48-mile long Cat Island stretches from north to south. The New Bight (MYCB) airstrip is the port of entry while the Hawk's Nest newly resurfaced 5000' private airstrip lies just 13 miles by air to the south. Hawk's Nest boasts the newest privately owned airstrip in the Bahamas, which sits just 300' from all accommodations.

Rooms: Nestled among palms, swaying casuarinas and blooming hibiscus, each beachfront room has a breathtaking view of emerald Caribbean waters. All rooms at Hawk's Nest are newly remodeled and are appointed with air-conditioning, top quality mattress, bedding and linens, Henry Link wicker furniture, TV/VCR, coffee maker and service, and full bath with luxurious terry cloth robes.
Point House: Surrounded by nature at its loveliest, Point House is the perfect place for couples, families and friends to relax and reconnect. This roomy beach villa has two bedrooms, two baths, dining area for 8 and casual bar top seating for 6 just outside and a fully equipped kitchen. Infused with tropical furniture and artwork the living areas are raised above ground level, taking advantage of the natural trade wind breeze. French doors and the glamour of glass take in gorgeous views and lend a light and airy nature to this Cat Island retreat. The large shaded verandah is perfect for morning coffee, casual outdoor meals or afternoon tea.

Large verandahs encompass each home allowing entertaining and living spaces to flow outdoors. Once settled in, visitors and guests alike will feel the intimacy of Heritage Landing at Hawk's Nest and the warmth of the Cat Islanders. Guests renting homes at Heritage Landing will have access to all of the fantastic amenities of Hawk's Nest Resort plus their own private pool, shaded cabana and beach area just in front of the homes. Restaurant
There's nothing like sun and sea air to heighten the appetite. That's why Hawk's Nest takes special care to make each dining experience a satisfying one. Our menu items highlight the culinary heritage of the Caribbean infused with some of today's most popular continental dishes. From scrumptious breakfasts, 12 delectable lunch items and 13 dinner choices, each guest can feel comforted that their personal tastes can be met. Seafood selections are brought in daily by the recreational sport fishing boats that troll the waters around Cat Island and all prime cuts of meat and game are flown in daily to insure the highest quality is served to you, the guest.
The new SHARKEY'S BAR is the perfect place to play a game of pool or darts, have a refreshing tropical drink, and meet new friends. A large verandah encompasses the Bar, which gives guests a perfect vantage point to watch the boats come and go from the marina.
The Club Bar is the meeting place before dinner to enjoy complimentary appetizers and share conversations about the day. The bar area opens onto the pool patio so a frozen drink is never far away from your chaise lounge. Items from the bar include a large selection of wines and liquors and our bartender knows all of "today's hottest drinks".
