Awarded the prestigious "Small Treasures of the Bahamas" designation by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, the Pelican Bay at Lucaya hotel and suites are both charming and intimate.
The dιcor of each private suite is best described as island elegant. Like your own Bahamas villa, within the spacious 750 square feet of each suite is a living room, breakfast corner, bath suite, bedroom, balcony and, should time allow, a working area.
Don't set the alarm. Wait to be awakened by the aroma of fresh baked pastries that are placed in an old fashioned pass-through in your front door each morning. No knocks, just there when you awaken and are ready for your morning espresso drawn from the espresso machine in the breakfast corner of your suite. Take your coffee and baked goods in the living room while you catch the morning news, or relax with it on your balcony, watching the dive boats on their way to the reefs.
Accommodation
At Pelican Bay at Lucaya nestled at water's edge, the 90-room Pelican Bay at Lucaya is a hotel with a distinct European architecture and a spectacular location on Lucaya Bay, Grand Bahamas.
Located 300 yards from the Lucaya Beach, many rooms offer stunning sunset views from their private balconies. Guest rooms feature cable TV, direct-dial telephones, coffee and tea-making facilities and private balconies or patios.
Guest amenities include two tropical fresh water pools at the water's edge as well as a hot tub. The hotel's pool bar, Neptune's, serves drinks, meals and snacks from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Each Pelican Bay room is equipped with a coffee maker. Prepackaged coffee is provided each day in both regular and decaffeinated varieties.

Baby Sitting. In-room baby sitting can be arranged through the front desk. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required.
Complimentary al fresco continental breakfast is served daily from 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Yellow Tails Floating Bar located adjacent to the main pool at Pelican Bay. In case of inclement weather, the breakfast will be served in the lobby of the reception building.

Restaurant
Located at the entrance to The Suites is the Ferry House Restaurant, one of the finest in the Bahamas, which the Miami Herald declared was "Grand Bahama's Best Kept Secret." The Ferry House features a unique and delightfully sumptuous cuisine and fine wines to complement every meal.
In addition to the Ferry House Restaurant, we offer Yellow Tail's Bar and Grill, located waterside at Pelican Bay's main pool. Yellow Tail's serves drinks, meals and snacks from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The Poolbar at Lucayan Marina Village is also available to hotel guests and is just a short complimentary ferry ride from the hotel. The Poolbar serves drinks, snacks and the best hamburgers on the island.
