Protea Hotel Island Club is directly opposite Canal Walk Shopping Centre at Century City, across the way from Dockside and Ratanga Junction theme park, just off the N1/Sable Road off-ramp.

3 Suites (1 in Majorca Block, 2 in La Savina Block)
There are 2 blocks that make up the hotel:
Majorca - 11 rooms in total
La Savina - 12 rooms in total
The first 11 rooms open during the 1st week of December in the Majorca block of the complex. In the La Savina block, approximately 200 metres from the admin and Majorca. Another 12 rooms will come online inΒ mid-February 2005
All rooms have 1 King size bed, wall-mounted desk, 1 Mini Bar Fridge, microwave and self catering facilities (including relevant equipment), laminate Timber flooring and free-standing bath and separate shower in an open-plan bathroom with frosted glass panels.

The hotel has the opportunity to grow to 50+ rooms, with private apartments joining the hotel pool as they come on line.
Facilities at the Protea Hotel Island Club include a Breakfast Room, serving a full Protea Breakfast daily from 07h00 to 10h00, with amazing views of the canal and shopping complex. Approximately 20 people can be accommodated inside, while another 20 are catered for on the terrace. The Cake and Coffee shop becomes a bar and lounge area from 11h00 until 22h00 daily.
Sporting facilities at the hotel include 2 swimming pools - a 25m heated pool (opening March 2005) and an outdoor pool, located on the island area adjacent to Half Moon Bay, with plenty of sunbathing area and partly shaded by palm trees.
