Accommodation

Each of the 35 luxurious guest rooms and the 18 lavish suites are exquisitely furnished by one of Cape Town's leading interior designers. All rooms and suites have under-carpet heating, ceiling fan, mini-bar, satellite TV, telephone and a tastefully finished bathroom. An original artwork by a well-known South African artist, is a focal point of each room. All suites have adjoining private lounges with panoramic views of the ocean.

Enchantingly furnished in a warm continental style, the hotel combines rare colonial charm with all the comfort of a modern, four star hotel. Imported marble floors, fine antiques and original artworks create a sophisticated yet warm ambience.

» 5 x COLONIAL SUITES – a sea or non-sea facing, large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and in most cases a second smaller bedroom. It also features a large separate lounge, fitted with a second TV.

» 1 x HARVEY SUITE – a sea facing presidential suite, which consists of two en-suite double bedrooms. A very spacious exquisitely designed lounge includes a dining room area seating up to twelve guests. All rooms have TV’s. This suite also has a kitchenette that allows for private catering.

Harveys at The Mansions, restaurant, bar, courtyard & terraces is fast becoming the hot spot for contemporary dining. The superb location of the restaurant combined with delectable cuisine and attentive service make it a favourite with visitors and locals alike.

The restaurant offers discerning diners an appetising taste of Cape traditional fare. Diners are also welcome to request special dishes, in keeping with the hotel's accent on personalised service.

Receive a complimentary Sunday Newspaper and a glass of bubbly on arrival and enjoy anything from eggs to cakes off our buffet.
