The first-class Hotel Danube managed by the French company Meydan Hotels offers a charming, friendly and pleasant atmosphere to our business & leisure travellers. Hotel Danube is situated in the historic heart of Bratislava and offers a beautiful view of the Danube river and the Bratislava Castle.
Accommodation
There are 276 guest rooms located on the four floors, of which 70 make the executive rooms, 4 apartments and 12 suites. All rooms are equipped with central air-conditioning, satellite and movie TV, ISDN telephone line and minibar. The non-smoking rooms and rooms for disabled people are available as well.
Executive rooms, located on the third floor, are prepared for those who want to have more than the standard quality. In the Meydan Lounge, located on the same floor, our guests can get complimentary continental breakfast, the evening aperitif, as well as coffee, tea and other soft drinks during the day. Selected daily newspapers and magazines are available for guests staying at the executive floor.
Those rooms are provided with some auxiliary services: free of charge visits of sauna and swimming pool, utilization of the Computer Room on the third floor (PC with printer connected to the internet line, local phone calls and fax), dry cleaning service on the day of arrival and later check-out on the day of departure (till 2.00 p.m.).
Restaurant
CAFÉ VIENNOIS - LA BRASSERIE (ground floor). From the daily buffet breakfast to “a la carte” lunch and dinner you can be provided with wide selection of traditional and international cuisine, the choice is yours. In the summer time you can try our grill specialties at our terrace.
RISTORANTE ITALIANO "ROMEO - GIULIETTA" (ground floor). Restaurant Romeo-Giulietta offers traditional Italian cuisine with excellent services. If you decide to try specialties prepared a front of you, you will certainly find piece of Italy in the heart of Bratislava. Open Monday to Saturday from 11.30 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.
Facilities and Services
BUSINESS CENTRUM. To everyone, who need assistance in administration work, services of our Business Centre are offered from Monday to Friday from 6.30 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.. Business Centre is equipped with fax machine, telephonic communication, personal computers with direct access to Internet, copy services, small meeting place with possibility to provide clients with translations, courier services, etc. executed by means of friendly and helpful staff. This is located on the ground floor next to the Reception.
Guest Relation Department is here for you to inform you about events taking place in the hotel facility, as well as about the course of the happenings, being held outdoor in the Bratislava city. We will arrange tour guide services_ we will help you to choose the proper cultural event, to make the ticket reservation for opera or philharmonic performances.
FITNESS CENTRE. For your relaxation we are offering you services of our Fitness Centre, which are as follows: Swimming pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna for ladies separated from Sauna for gentlemen, Solar bed, Massages and work out room. The Fitness Centre is located on the 1st floor, opened daily from Monday to Friday from 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m., during weekends from 9.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.,
PARKING FACILITIES. Parking place in a front of the hotel is intended for the short-time parking. Underground garage is equipped with the car wash facility, and is available 24 hours a day.
CAR RENTAL. AVIS Rent a Car is at your disposal in the lobby foyer. Opened daily from 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.,
SAFE BOXES. To keep your valuable property, or bigger amount of money safe, in some rooms are available the safe boxes or you can employ our services at the Reception desk.
