The Oberoi Resort Mauritius is a true destination resort, perfectly reflecting the pulse of this beautiful tropical island and commanding 600 metres of a clear oceanfront. Picturesquely located at Baie aux Tortues on the island's north-west coast, it is 20 minutes away from Port Louis and 50 minutes from the airport. Spread over 20 acres of tropical gardens, the resort will have 76 terrace pavilions and private villas. All villas will have courtyard gardens and open-air dining pavilions_ a majority will have private swimming pools. Exclusivity and privacy are the hallmarks of the resort.
Accommodation
The Oberoi Resort Mauritius has been designed to meet the highest standards of resort accommodation. With only seventy-six private Villas and Luxury Pavilions, a sense of exclusivity and style prevails. The various options in accommodation are:
LUXURY PAVILION: Luxurious and covering an area of 70 square metres, the air- conditioned Luxury Pavilion includes a spacious bedroom and sitting area with a choice of either king-size or twin beds. The bathroom is appointed with a marble sunken bath and a separate shower cubicle looking onto an open-air walled garden. There is a walk-in closet with ample storage space. Each Pavilion has a spacious terrace for private dining and overlooks the garden with views of the crystal blue sea.
All Pavilions are equipped with a mini bar, an electronic safe, hair dryer, digital video disc player, data port, tea/coffee making facility, three telephone instruments with two outside lines and satellite television.
LUXURY VILLA: A haven of peace and privacy, each Luxury Villa is set within a walled courtyard and features a lush sub-tropical garden and open-air dining pavilion that provides an excellent retreat for al fresco dining. The air-conditioned bedroom/ living area with subtle colour schemes, natural fabrics and original artwork is inspired by the vibrant Mauritian lifestyle. Each bathroom has a separate shower stall, and a marble sunken bath looking on to an open air walled garden. There is a walk-in closet with ample storage for luggage.
LUXURY VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL: Sixteen of the Luxury Villas have their own private swimming pool, measuring up to 8m X 4.5m, set within the palatial walled courtyard garden. These villas with their subtle colour schemes bring out the true Mauritian lifestyle. All Villas have a mini bar, an electronic safe, hair dryer, digital multi-disc player, tea/ coffee making facility, three- telephone instruments with two outside lines and satellite television.
ROYAL VILLA: Most stunning of all accommodation are the two Royal Villas, each within a 650 square meter compound. In a lush garden environment, are a living room pavilion and a separate bedroom and bathroom pavilion. The dining gazebo overlooks the large private swimming pool. The Royal Villas have uninterrupted views of the ocean.

RESTAURANT: The open - air thatched roof restaurant, overlooking the sparkling ocean offers a wide range of cuisines. The Master Chef's blend of European, Creole, Indian and Oriental dishes is complemented by an impressive wine list. The ambience is just perfect for a wholesome breakfast or a romantic candle lit dinner.
The bar at The Oberoi Resort Mauritius offers an enjoyable experience with the live instrumental music highlighting the ambience with refined tunes.
