The resort is flanked by a 400 metre seaside boardwalk. Most cabanas and bungalows are secluded, and privacy is provided by thickets of lush Asian foliage. Soak tubs, interior bathrooms and an added 'au naturel' outdoors shower, again protected by the privacy of lush green growth, add a sensuous touch to the Amata experience.

Grand Cabana Seaview
Each meticulously crafted cabana or multi-tiered bungalow features rich teak highlights and is designed to incorporate the best of modern and traditional styles of living. The interiors are luxurious and gracefully spacious with modern bathroom facilities including soak tubs. Tropical gardens surround the cabanas, shielding them from view and affording privacy. Outside areas include a peaceful Asian-landscaped mediation niche, a deck with panoramic views, and a calming, tranquil outdoor 'au naturel' shower area once again totally screened by foliage.
Cabana Cottage
Each two-storey beach bungalow is equipped with a unique, spacious bedroom in the upstairs area, and a relaxing comfortable living room and fully equipped bathroom on the ground level. The bungalows are surrounded by lush tropical landscaped gardens with Asian-style soak tubs and 'au naturel' outdoor showering area screened by foliage.
Deluxe
The Amata Resort & Spa houses 23 stylish deluxe all at first floor level, with a gracious Asian-style private living room, a tranquil bedroom, and a fully equipped modern bathroom. Each deluxe is thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and provides all the amenities associated with an international standard resort.

Each superior room is fully furnished and features beautiful modern décor with a tantalising Asian influence. Each room has a well equipped bathroom and all 26 Superior rooms are easily accessible on the ground floor.

The Dwarawaddy Restaurant is renowned for its sumptuous repasts. Introduce your palate to such tantalising dishes as ye kyeet thoke (squid salad served with onion, tomatoes and lemon grass,) or nga thauk san (fish bisque with local pepper leaves). Seafood is the signature dish of Rakhine chefs, and at the Dwarawaddy Restaurant fresh means fresh. Seafood caught during the day is brought to the beach late in the afternoon and carried to the kitchen in wicker baskets balanced on the heads of village women. The Rakhine menu varies according to seasonal and daily availability of ingredients. A modern well equipped bar, the Kissapanadi Lounge, is the perfect 'chill out zone' during lazy afternoons or when the cool breezes gust in from the Bay of Bengal to announce that another tropical evening is on hand.
