Accommodation
Lifts decked in rich leather transport you to the residential floors. The doors open onto a splash of colourful carpet that picks up the landscape of each floor. Each floor is seen as a panorama, containing an oasis indicated by intense spots of colour in a large landscape and suggestive of the variety of experiences and cultures throughout India.The first floor depicts a cool expanse of water signified by the base colour of ‘aqua’ with a burst of the sun signified by dashes of ‘orange’. The next suggests a mountain landscape with the use of ‘iris’ with ‘pale lime’ trees providing the relief. The ‘bright Lime’ of the jungle on the third floor greets you, offset with regal ‘emperor red’ flowers. The fourth floor – The Residence – reflects elegance with ‘saffron’ denoting the desert and the oasis is reflected in splashes of ‘ultramarine blue’.
The luxury of the rooms using silk, leather, pure Oak wooden floors and glass – a mixture of materials, modern and traditional, create a unique in-room experience. A custom-made 10 inches luxurious mattress,, soft duvet and goose down pillows framed in a modern four-poster bed, dominates the room. Many rooms have balconies with deck chairs that let one recall the relaxing moments of a beachside holiday.
Functionally designed and uncluttered, the desk in the room, offers speakerphone with 2 lines, a data port offering high speed Internet connectivity and a fax line. Adequate storage is provided by a modular rollaway drawer unit and efficient lighting by a sleek metallic work lamp. A unique feature is the cordless phone in all the rooms, allowing one the flexibility of lounging in the balcony while transacting business. The bathroom has a secret night-light that creates a completely private ambience and a dimmer switch allows one to control the moods. The shower offers a gentle ‘rain shower’ head in addition to the massage shower.

An angled table peeps through the silk curtains and draws you into this dining area - Monsoon the 24-hour restaurant. The ‘sharing table’ is a melting pot for strangers to meet and mingle. Inspired by the all-encompassing season that influences the landscapes of India, the menu offers an international menu packed with favourites from the Mediterranean, South East Asian and Indian cuisine. Emphasis is on authentic cuisine, subtle flavours, healthy and quality ingredients. Ask to be seated in the poolside Gazebos and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Facilities and Services
Conference and banquet facilities are significant and up to the mark. The Park Kensington Terrace has four conference halls and the largest of them can accommodate the maximum of 250 people. Conference halls are suitable for holding seminars and conferences. Conference halls are well equipped with all kind technical instruments required for communication. The banquet facilities are available for organising small get-togethers and parties.
