Karni Bhawan, home of the erstwhile Jagirdars of Sodwas, Bhati Rajputs the Lunar dynasty. This delightful red sand stone colonial bungalow of the 40’s has been sensitively redone to meet the requirements of the discerning traveler.

Accommodation

There are thirty-one luxury air-conditioned/air-cooled rooms and suites. These rooms and suites possess ethnic designs of Rajasthani festivity themes. They have attached bath with running hot and cold water.

Restaurant

Karni Bhawan’s exclusive Rajasthani cuisine is a special highlight_ the team of its Chefs has delighted the Swiss in Switzerland for the six consecutive years with food festivals in leading hotels in Zurich, Luzern, Lausanne and Bern. Our food is so popular, that we have been invited again an again.

Here at Karni Bhawan, it is a food festival everyday.

“Dhani” the Marwari word for a group of dwelling huts built away from the community village, often in the wilderness or on the owner’s farm land. Karni Bhawan’s Dhani set in the garden area, which is an authentic creation that enhances the enjoyment of your lunches and dinners.

Every evening there is live folk music around the Dhani.
